Bilişim Vadisi kicked off its new roundtable series on February 10 with a session titled "Game Technologies and Interactive Media: From Cultural Production to Scaling." The series is built around the relationship between technology and the creative and cultural industries, and this first meeting brought together thought leaders from across the game sector to dig into what's actually happening on the ground.

The conversation covered production practices in gaming and interactive media, the structural challenges the sector deals with, and where the real scaling potential lies. Not abstract theory the discussion was grounded in participants' direct experiences, which made for a sharper exchange than most panel formats allow.

Setimedia Co-Founder Tugbek Olek joined the session and shared his perspective on the current state of the game industry in Turkiye, as well as the ongoing collaboration work between the sector and technology clusters like Bilişim Vadisi itself. That relationship between established tech infrastructure and a sector that doesn't always fit neatly into traditional R&D frameworks is one worth building carefully, and it came through clearly in the discussion.

The series continues with more sessions planned around different themes. Worth following if you're working at the intersection of games, technology policy, or creative industry development.
