Title: Oyungezer Goes to Patreon with Issue 206 Date: (you'll need to provide this)
Blog Text:
205 issues. That's how long Oyungezer has been landing in people's inboxes, long before most people in Turkiye even thought to look online for gaming news. Number 206 is where things change.
The old distribution setup worked, in the same way a leaky faucet technically delivers water. A form, a donation amount, a link, a WeTransfer download. It got the magazine to the people who wanted it, and Setimedia is genuinely embarrassed it took this long to replace it with something better. Starting with issue 206, Oyungezer is on Patreon. Monthly subscriptions are live now, annual options will follow once the page finds its footing.
The magazine was never truly free. Anyone who has supported it over the years was already paying something. What Patreon actually changes is the experience: the tiers are clear, the process is clean, and there are real benefits beyond receiving a PDF. What those benefits are, you'll have to subscribe to find out. But for everyone who has been asking about a printed edition every single month since Setimedia went digital, there is finally something other than no to say.
One thing worth flagging for iOS users: subscribe through Patreon's website, not the app. Apple's in-app pricing adds roughly 40% to the cost. The content is exactly the same. The bill is not.
Oyungezer has been running for a long time. The plan is to keep it running for a long time. Patreon is how that keeps being possible.
