Blizzard Entertainment has appointed Setimedia as its PR agency in Turkiye, and we're not going to pretend this is just another account. We grew up on these games.
The work covers media outreach, interview coordination, and making sure Blizzard's stories land with Turkish audiences in a way that feels native rather than localized. There's a difference, and it matters.
Blizzard's communities in Turkiye are not casual. World of Warcraft players here have been raiding since Vanilla. The Diablo, Overwatch, and Hearthstone audiences are engaged, opinionated, and they know when they're being talked at versus talked to. That's exactly the kind of audience that pushes PR work to be better. You can't get away with lazy coverage when the readers know more about the product than most journalists do.
Setimedia has been building relationships with gaming media and audiences in this market since 2008. Bringing that into the Blizzard catalog, titles that have shaped how an entire generation here thinks about online gaming, feels like the right fit at the right time.
Big responsibility. Genuinely looking forward to it.
