Oyungezer Has a New Home on Patreon

A massive update has landed for the game, friends… well, maybe not just an “update” but something closer to a DLC—actually, it’s big enough to call it an expansion pack. Or maybe we should even call this OGZ 2.0? Anyway, in the developer’s own words:
“We listened to warnings and suggestions from our fans. We know the problems you’ve been facing (‘yes, we’ve seen the tweets where you mention us every day to swear at our game’). To fix them, we’ve put in serious work as a team (‘we even turned your glitch screenshots from Reddit into Slack tasks’) and spent months at it. We think we’re finally ready to deliver a flawless game experience (‘the game menu screen no longer crashes now’).”
We haven’t really been able to say this until now, but we’re here to talk about something serious. From now on, we’ll be sharing those ~150 pages of our most exciting monthly content (you do still get excited when the magazine comes out, right? Please be excited) through Patreon. That means we’re ending the old process of filling out a form, entering a donation amount, clicking the link in the email, and downloading from WeTransfer. We’re making the whole thing simpler.
Starting with the first issue of 2025—our 206th issue—Oyungezer will no longer be free, but you still set the price yourself. Not only that, but depending on the support tier you choose, we’ll have extra surprises for you. What’s that? Did someone say “printed magazine”? We wouldn’t say “we can hear you” because, honestly, ever since we switched to digital, you’ve been asking us this question every month and every issue, and until now our only answer was “No, unfortunately.” But now, we finally have something else to say.
Of course, in the beginning there might be some things missing, things we’ve overlooked, or features you’ll wish we had. In that case, we trust you won’t hold back your feedback. Over time, we’ll also be bringing you fresh ideas and brand-new surprises.
To see all the subscription options on Patreon, just visit our Patreon page and click on the “Membership” tab above. And as always, we’ll be around to answer your questions through our social media channels or via email. We hope you’ll continue the support you’ve given us so far.
We’re also planning to add a yearly subscription system in the future, but Patreon requires the page to gain some momentum first. So in the coming period, you might see new options from us as well.
One last reminder for Apple / iOS users: when subscribing to Patreon, please use Patreon’s website instead of the iOS app, because Apple’s policies add about a 40% extra fee. On Patreon’s website, there’s no such additional charge.
